Congratulations on getting your Little Darling! I have been admiring them as well. Maybe someday. She looks wonderful in all your terrific creations!
Congrats! She is beautiful! I have one Little Darling so far that I had custom made from Geri Uribe. Dianna is making another custom for me, (which was ordered first) and I was supposed to already have her. Dianna is a little behind, so maybe I will get her before Christmas. They are such special dolls.
Bama and Jen, thank you for your good words. These really are special dolls :-)Beth
She looks gorgeous in the crotchet items - they look as though they were designed for her.
Beth, she is adorable. It is wonderful that she can wear clothes you already have available.
Thanks so much for your lovely words, Lizzie and Sandra :-)Beth
Oooh, yes, she is so sweet! What a little darling. And, being your little darling she will be so beautifully dressed for all time.
What a beautiful face she have, and here eyes!!!!!!She is lovely!
Oh wow! She's such a darling! Bet she loves all the dresses she has! :)
Lois, Marga, and Lovestitch, thank you for your good words :-)Beth
A question. Is the doll made of porcelain or vinyl? I did some research but couldn't find anything that said. Very pretty face. I have several procelain dolls made by well known artist of this area. They are packed in metal locker boxes in the attic and seeing the Little Darling Doll made me think I might get them down. Undfortunately I haven't room to display all my dolls since we moved to a smaller home. Keep thinking I should sell them or pass them on to others in the family, but it feels to me like abandoning one of your children.
Hi Yvonne! This doll is made of high quality vinyl. Oh, you really should get some of your dolls out and 'play' with them! Even if you don't have a lot of room (I know how this is); this might be just the time to reaquaint yourself with old friends :-)Beth
She is so adorable and so realistic!
Yes, the creators of this doll are artists!Beth
I never played with dolls even as a child. I dessed them and did their hair in different styles then set them on a shelf and espected them to stay clean, be quiet and behave themselves. It was something of a shock when as an adult I found you could not do the same with real children.
Oh Yvonne, if only one could! Beth
How beautiful and that is the perfect name for her. Thank you for sharing photos of her.
Beth, your new doll is just gorgeous!! I just received my first May Engelbreit Ann Estelle doll by Tonner. She will appear on my blog tomorrow!! Do you think some of those outfits might fit my doll, too? I've always loved Dianna Effner-she is one of my favorite artists. And I agree, Beth, one is NEVER too old to play with dolls!!!!!!!Hugs,Sandie
Hi Sandie,I have a couple of Tonner's Anne Estelle dolls, and the outfits for Bleuette would fit this doll with very little tweaking. Isn't it a kick to get a new doll?!Beth
