Public Service Announcement

If you have bookmarked some of my early tutorials that were picture tutorials on Flickr, they will disappear FOREVER on November 4.  The one tutorial that has probably been the most popular is the Waldorf Wig Making tutorial.  You may wish to download the images to your computer to save them.  I may, in the future, create PDF versions of these tutorials, as I have all the images on Dropbox, but don't really feel like doing it right now.

We'll see.  If there are several people who want/need a particular tutorial, I will create one.

Edit 10/12/2019:  Thanks to Dawn Smith, the wigmaking tutorial for Waldorf (or any) dolls has been turned into a .pdf file.  Now when you open it, it should allow you to download this file, instead of taking you to Flickr.  Yay, Dawn!  and thank you!!

    1. Hi Lorraine...because I am too cheap to pay $50 to keep a pro account! I haven't been on Flickr in almost a year, and it irks me that what was once free will now cost me. I don't mind the adds, so I didn't mind it when it free and add-filled, but now one can only keep 1000 images, and the rest are deleted! So, since I already pay for Dropbox, I'm letting the Flickr account go back to free, and only 1000 images.

I am seeing more of my friends on Facebook anyway, including you! So, this blog, and Facebook (and Ravelry) will be my social media homes.

      Thank you for stopping by!

      warmly,

      Beth.

  2. Fair enough, I understand. I have been paying for my subscription to Flickr for a long time, I don't think I even realised it was free! I still have my Ipernity account, but I haven't renewed it, so I only have a restricted amount of photos which are shown now. I can't decide what to do with it, so have left it in the mean time. I might be coming off FB by the end of the year....I have been thinking about doing so for a very long time, but at least I know I can still keep in touch with you via here and Ravelry if I do so.

    1. I would hate to see you leave Facebook, Lorraine; but with all of its issues, I can easily see why you would. I have my account so locked down that I only see what I want to see.

I hope that you are getting some relief from your new treatment protocol. Take care, my friend.

      warmly,

      Beth
