These sweet little dainties are crocheted with size 8 perle cotton and a size 7 steel hook. There are three variations of pantaloons, and three variations of camisole. Each of the camisole bodices could be the basis of a dress, sundress, rompers, t-shirt, you get the idea :-)
I have a feeling these girls are going to get a new sister, and a much bigger wardrobe!
Enjoy the crochet.
How very darling! I love them all. :) You do such gorgeous work.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for your good words, Lois; they always warm my heart :-)

ReplyDeleteHi Beth,
ReplyDeleteI think you have just made a lot of Kish doll owners very, very happy by creating and future creation of lovely clothes. The are such beautiful dolls and now they will have some equally beautiful clothes. Great work. Enjoyed my morning here with you.

I got the impression the dolls shown are small. I went to the Kish site, but I saw only 12" and 18" dolls. If the dolls shown are smaller, where did you get them? I am interested in buying a couple.
ReplyDeleteHi Yvonne,
ReplyDeleteYes, Riley is small, about 7.5 inches. It looks like the 2011 Helen Kish collection does not include any Riley dolls. However, here is a link to a retailer that has the 2010 collection with Riley and Kiley, both 7.5 inches.

Denver Doll Emporium has 2008 Zsu Zse, who is an Asian friend of Riley (mine just arrived in the mail today!)

If you do a Google search for Helen Kish Riley you should be able to find other sources. Also, there is always Ebay.
Hope this helps,
Beth
What a wonderful obsession!
ReplyDeleteOh ! Very cute undies ! I love them !
ReplyDeleteThanks a lot for sharing the patterns with us ! :-)
Hi from France,

Merci, Sylvie in France; and that is the sum total of my French :-)
ReplyDeleteHi Sandra! Thank you :-)
Beth
Thanks a lot. I used to be a doll dealer, but this artist is unfamiliar to me. I am assuming she is rather new to the field. Loved the vintage underwear you made.
ReplyDeleteThese are really lovely, thanks for sharing the pattern.
ReplyDeleteThese are fabulous! I think I will have to make some. :)
