Knit sweater for Bleuette

I have been working on a commission doll for a dear friend, and in the process made up this knit raglan sleeve cardigan sweater pattern for Bleuette.  The sleeves are knit on double point (dpn) needles, then set aside as the body of of the sweater is knit on straight needles.  I used a light worsted yarn for this (Berroco Vintage) and size 2 and 3 double and  single point needles.  I found it easier, for me, to place the body and sleeves on a pair of circular needles to finish off the sweater, but straight needles will also work.

And here is the commission complete!

Enjoy the crochet!

  10. I think your crochet version of Bleuette is infinitely cuter than the original doll. I want one so badly now I'm going to have to try your pattern. Thanks for sharing it with everyone.

  11. Dear Beth, I so much enjoy going thru all your pics and I have downloaded some patterns. They really fit the bleuette doll very nicely. I REALLY want to make up all the other clothes that go with the bleuette yellow sweater that you did for a special commission. Are they available, if not, when? Thanks for all you are doing. I also need a pattern for a crochet cloche hat for bleuette.

Also, i do not know what the "profile" list means, except anonymous. Help me here please, I do not particularly want to be anonymous!!

    1. Hi Cathy,

The dress I made for the commission is a one of a kind for my friend, so there won't be a pattern for this...sorry. I am delighted to hear that the outfits I design for my crochet Bleuette fit well on the real deal. I have two of these, but tend to model the outfits on my crochet doll.

As far as signing your name on this blog, I think in order to not be anonymous, you must have an account with one of the entities that show up (like Google). I'm not that familiar with this part of it, but it seems to be how it works when I leave comments on other people's blogs.

You should consider joining the yahoo group aadcbleuette (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/aadcbleuette/) You may well find the cloche pattern you are looking for here. They are all about Bleuette doll clothing, and a lovely group of women.
