Spring Rememberances

A year ago yesterday, my Mother died.  I was going to say, "we lost my Mother," but on reflection, we did not lose her.  She is present in my life every day.  I think of her with love and gratitude; have silent dialogues with her; show her what I am currently making, and know that she is present, just unseen.

Mother is with us for the rest of our lives.

  1. I lost my mom a few years ago and yes I believe the same. She is present in my life every day. Especially in my crafts. I cant pick up yarn or buttons or turn on my sewing machine without my mom popping into my mind.

  7. Dear Beth, My mom died on March 29th---last year. Her birthday was March 20th & she made it to 84 years. This week has been difficult---I think of her every day.

  8. What a lovely tribute to your mother. My Mother died in September, on my husband's birthday. I can remember driving over to pick up my Dad about a month later and thought about my Mom missing the beautiful Fall trees that she always enjoyed. Then I realized she was seeing them with me right then.

  9. Both of my parents and my husbands parents have been gone for years now, but I see them in myself, my husband, and my children every day. They've influenced every part of our lives and helped make us the people we are today. If I've never said it before, I will say it now. Thank you Moms and Dads! You are loved, missed, and will be cherished always!
