Order out of Chaos
When it looks like a craft store has exploded in your work room, its time to bring some Order out of Chaos! I still need to get Aragorn hung on the wall, instead of leaning on it, and the pile of boxes in the lower left are my next project. Stay tuned.
Look! I can even see most of the floor :-)
Good luck! You can come and do mine next! ;)
ReplyDeleteChaotic or not, it's fun to see the space where all your creative magic happens. Maybe this will inspire me to clean up my own "crafting room" which is really just the corner by my side of the bed. Although usually new crafting winds up winning out over cleaning/organizing. :-)
ReplyDeleteThank you for your good words, Lorraine and Anna! I really need to do this more than bi-annually :-) But like you say, Anna, crafting trumps cleaning any day!
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely day, my friends,
Beth
After cleaning that room Id need a nap on the bed thete.
ReplyDeleteYou've got that right!
Deletewarmly,
Beth
¡Animo! Siempre es importante sentirse a gusto y tener las cosas ordenadas.
ReplyDeletePor supuesto, Isabel. Es mucho más agradable trabajar sin todo el desorden alrededor.
Deletecon gusto,
Beth
Your craft room is similar to my doll/sewing room - in the chaos is lots of emerging ideas! I do every once in a wile, try to restore order, and usually i end up with a pile of items on one end of the daybed that i planto eliminate - but it never seems to happen - I end up wanting something buried in that pile!
ReplyDeleteYour rug is a fabulous creation. did you make it? How?

Hi Janet! Thank you for stopping by :-) The beautiful rug was hooked by my Grandmother, so it is very precious to me.
DeleteYour story sounds so much like mine. I 'inherited' the futon when we bough the house, and it is just more trouble than it's worth to get rid of it. Sometimes I even sit on it!
Enjoy your making,
warmly,
Beth
