BellaDonna Pocket Spirit

BellaDonna, a Pocket Spirit, is a commission for a friend.  It has been a bit since I've made a Pocket Spirit doll; coming back to them is like returning to an old friend.  I really love to make these little dolls :-)

She is Nightshade's sister; you can see Nightshade here.

Enjoy the crochet!

  4. Thank you for the good words, Sandra and Mia and Typstatting. I'm afraid I don't know how to knit, but I'm sure a similar doll could be knitted. But, this crochet is very easy :-)

  10. Thank you all for the great words :-) Join, here is a face tutorial for the Free Spirit doll, but it can be used for any crochet doll:

copy and paste this link into your browser. I also find that mouths on crochet work best if you use simple straight stitches, and tie off each stitch as you make it, instead of trying to do the entire mouth in one continuous piece of embroidery. You have more precision in placing your stitches this way.
