I love dolls in dainty undergarments. Undergarments are the first thing I make for a new doll. Not only does it get her decent quickly, but it also lets me figure out the basic garment construction; how many stitches around the waist, how long the bodice needs to be, how large to make the armhole openings.
Basic Bleuette Undies
So now your Bleuette, or your crochet Bleuette, can have a camisole, pantaloons, and socks. The camisole pattern makes a lovely bodice for a sundress, a drop-waist dress or rompers, and the pantaloons can give you a good beginning for shorts or pants.
Enjoy outfitting your Bleuette...more to follow :-)
That is so dainty and pretty! You really are very clever with making up the outfits for your dolls!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Typs :-)

Right now I'm so busy getting ready for Dear Daughter's wedding in August; but when the schedule allows, I look forward to making a pretty little Bluette for myself! ReplyDeletehola,me encantan tus amigurumis, son preciosas¡¡¡y estan hechas con mucho gusto.te invito a mi blog: amigurumis marga.
ReplyDeleteHow pretty Beth.
ReplyDeleteWhen the time calls me to make one in cloth I need to know what's the length of the original Bleuettes' arms, legs, torso, feet and the size of her head...if you don't mind sharing that information since I'm unable to afford one at this time, at most I'll have the pleasure of creating one and offering it to the public.
I'm excited to see What you come up with next.
Thank you ALL!
ReplyDeleteCarolyn, if you look at the crochet Bleuette doll pattern, I think you'll find all of the measurements you need. I put them in there as reference when making the crochet version.
Marga, gracias!
Bluefairy, thank you!
Tina, thank you for your good words :-)
Anita, thank you! It is sometimes hard to find nice socks for our girls; this is a pretty easy pattern, even if the thread is rather fine.
Pink Princess, thank you; I look forward to seeing your Bleuette :-)
Beth
Ooo thanks. I haven't been able to view it yet because I'm viewing your blog and commenting from my cell phone so I'm unable to open pdf files.
DeleteI'm so excited to see her fully clothed...which I know the clothes are going to be fantastic.

Love your Bluette pattern. Ordering my supplies now. What size shoe did you use for her? I have printed your crochet patterns, but this one is a must do.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much,
Joanne
Joanne, the shoes I used for crochet Bleuette are 1 1/2inches from toe to heel, and 3/4 inches across the widest part of the shoe. Thank you for your good words :-)

I just want to say that I saw your crocheted Bleuette pattern and fell in love with her. She is the first doll I have made in almost ten years-serious artistic and creative block! I copied the pattern for the socks, but made a mistake, where would I find that? Thank you so much for offering this pattern for free! She may have opened a dam of creative energy. Carolyn
ReplyDeleteHi Carolyn,
DeleteHow sweet to hear that this Bleuette is helping you recover your muse! The socks pattern is a part of the underwear pattern, so all you need to do is click on the basic underwear pattern above to get to the socks (this pattern also includes the undies and camisole).
Beth
Thank you so much for the pattern. I too am new at crochet, and def can't afford to buy patterns. I only buy yarn as I need it due to finances. I am disabled, colon and breast cancer survivor. I am trying to make memory dolls/blankets for all 7 of my grandchildren. This will be perfect for the 4 girls...now to find batman, LOL
