Jasmyn

I go through periods where I can't seem to stop making dolls...obviously this is one of those periods :-)  Jasmyn is another doll from Fiona's wonderful free Travel Doll pattern, available on Ravelry.  She will have an Asian themed outfit, I hope, if I can pull it off in knit.

This doll is the perfect, perfect doll to make for gifting at Christmas.  She is quick to knit, classy, has a lovely long and lanky silhouette; a great canvas for doll creation.

I'm pretty sure there will be more dolls and outfits coming.

    1. Hi Typs,

They aren't exactly stuffed; what I do is leave a very long yarn tail and run it back and forth in the leg with a blunt tapestry needle, which sort of stuffs it without stuffing it. Works nice, and you don't have to worry about white stuffing showing through.

  3. You're having a pretty productive week! How many of these dolls have you made now? I think I might have to make Mindy a friend or two...

I love her leg colours. Did you alter the feet as well?

    1. I get a little crazy...Jasmyn is my fourth Travel Doll :-) I keep wanting to try different faces and hair styles. And, I just love the rhythm of easy knitting. These girls will either become gifts, or contributions. Fun for me, and fun for someone else.

I did alter the feet slightly, to define them a bit more, and I stuffed them with a tiny bit of fiberfill and loose yarn ends.

I definitely think Mindy needs some friends :-)
