I too use blogger. Is there something special I need to do to ensure my links to patterns on older posts are not 'broken'? No worries if you're not sure.
I really wish I knew. All of the links to my patterns were stored on two Google websites created specifically for the purpose (since I didn't know how, or couldn't, post .pdf's directly to the blog). It is those websites that are going to a new format.
Google emailed me instructions for going to the new format, and it obviously did not work (for me!). I ported the oldest website first. At least they made a copy of the links directory and dropped it into my Google drive, so I can access the patterns and send them to those that request.
If you have not created a Google website and just use blogspot, I 'think' you will be okay.
I have my pdf's stored on google docs with links to them on my blog. I'm hoping they keep working. I love your patterns and designs. You're so creative and talented. Good luck with getting all your links to work again.
Ah, then I have a question for you! I am pretty sure that you should be fine with your .pdf's on Google Docs. What kind of permissions did you set for people to come and download your files? Google did put my links folder in my google drive, and my husband tells me I can share them, but I don't want someone able to delete or modify them.
And thank you so very much for your kind words! Have a great day,
Sorry I got that wrong. My patterns are saved as a pdf on google drive. I share a link that is "view only" on my blog. Google docs I use for other things. I hope that helps.
I see it if I scroll waaay down and look on the left sidebar. There is a section called 'Followers,' and below their pictures, there 'should' be a follow button. If not, I think you can copy the URL and put it in your reading list.
I'm sorry, but that just about exhausts my knowledge of blogger! I hope something will work out for you.

DeleteThere is no follow option from here.
